The VTA Victorian Time Attack (VTA) will return to Phillip Island next month, with a prize pool on offer for competitors taking part.

More than $500 of memorabilia and silverware is up for grabs on the day. The event is perfect for thrill seeking competitors wanting to make their mark on the sport.

Entries for the first VT Victorian Time Attack for 2019 are currently open, with a CAMS Speed licence required to compete in the six 15 minutes sessions across four different classes.

Also included in the entry fee is garage access, timed runs and event memorabilia, as well as the enjoyment of taking part in a renowned format.

Last year saw a variety of world-class drivers make their way to the island to be part of the event including three time World Time Attack Pro class champions, the Tilton Interiors crew.

A number of vehicles have already entered the event with a variety of Japanese staples such as Mazda RX7s and Nissan GTRs taking on the slick European cars made up of the prestigious Porsches and BMWs.

While the track action is sure to attract a huge crowd, another major activation happening is the event’s show and shine where fans will be able to get up close and personal to the cars and drivers part of the event.

The entertainment won’t stop there as the VTA has introduced a new skidpan at this year’s event, allowing fans able to get a feel for the action themselves, sitting in the cars as alongside some of the team’s professional drivers.

For just a $15 admission fee, enthusiasts can witness some of the fastest time attack cars in the world do battle on one of the most picturesque tracks in Australia.
