Make Smoking History Forest Rally

When: 5-7 April
Where: Busselton-Nannup, Western Australia
 
The first round of the CAMS Australian Rally Championship (ARC) is finally here with the country’s best rally drivers converging on Busselton and Nunnup in Western Australia.
 
Around the local forests, 48 crews will do battle for both the ARC and the CAMS Zestino Tyres Western Australia Rally Championship in what is shaping up to be an incredible season of Australian rally.
 
All spectating is free and fans can head to most stages and get a taste of the action through different vantage points. The Service Park will be in Nannup.
 
The rally won’t be the only form of competition going over the weekend with the Shannons Busselton Sprint also taking place on Saturday.
 
 

The Cobb & Co Hotel St George 399

When: 5-7  April
Where: St George, Queensland
 
Another national Championship also gets underway this weekend with the BFGoodrich Australian Off Road Championship to open its season in Queensland.
 
The Cobb & Co Hotel St George 399 is only three years old but already it has won the hearts of the competitors and fans alike. With some significant changes being made over the off-season, the event is set to be bigger and better than ever before.
 
More than 70 crews will be competing in the event with the national Championship and the CAMS Queensland Off Road Championship also starting its own season.
 
Off Road fans have free admission to the season opener with the event’s headquarters to act as the main vantage point for spectators.
 
 
Tyrepower Tasmania Supersprint
When: 5-7 April
Where: Symmons Plains, Tasmania
 
The Virgin Australia Supercars Championship reaches its third destination for 2019 in Tasmania, as the drama is set to continue in what as already been a thrilling season.
 
Scott McLaughlin will be looking to extend his gap at the top, however new changes to the vehicles’ centre of gravity could see Holden and Nissan bridge the gap to the dominating Ford Mustangs.
 
Once again, there will be a host of fantastic support categories including Aussie Racing Cars, the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge and the Formula Vees which make their maiden appearance in the Championship.
 
Tickets begin from $15 and can be purchased at the gate, while fans can also tune in via Fox Sports.
 
 
 

Northam Motorsport Festival

When: 6-7 April
Where: Northam Township
 
This year will mark the 20th anniversary of the Northam Mitre 10 Flying 50's and as always, there will be lots of entertainment both on and off the track.
 
A variety of live bands, markets, car displays and children's entertainment will be available to the travelling fans, while there will be non-stop racing throughout the weekend.
 
Mt Ommanney will host hill climbing events on Saturday and the Northam street circuit will see a number of regularity events take place on Sunday.
 
Saturday will also feature the traditional Minson Motorkhana display of legendary drivers navigating the tight circuit against the stop watch at Bernard Park
 
The whole two-day event is free for the public.
