The Shannons Nationals’ second round for 2019 is here with Philip Island Grand Prix Circuit to host three days of action packed racing.

carsales TCR Australia Series
carsales TCR Australia Series hosts its second round this weekend after a highly successful debut in Sydney. Will Brown started the Series off with a bang at Sydney Motorsport Park and will be looking to continue his brilliant run at the top.
Fifteen drivers return for a second crack at one of Australia’s newest categories, with several fresh faces and new cars to feature at Phillip Island.
Garth Tander will compete in a one-off appearance in a striking new Audi, and with a wealth of experience across a range of categories will no doubt be one to watch.

Porsche Michelin GT3 Cup Challenge
Following this weekend’s Nationals, the one-make series will have reached the halfway point of its year, with the favourites starting to emerge for the overall series win.
More than 20 drivers have entered the third round with Harri Jones and Max Vidau leading the charge in both outright and the seven-car Pro class, as the two teenagers continue their entertaining battle at the Island.
The largest class of the weekend is the TAG Heuer Pro-Am class with 10 drivers battling out, and South Australian Sam Shahin enjoys top spot after a brilliant season so far, and his strong performance also see him inside the outright top five after two strong opening rounds.
The most interesting battle of the weekend will come in Class B with barely anything separating leader David Greig and Andrew Goldie. Despite Goldie winning every race, a race exclusion in Tasmania handed Greig top spot.

CAMS Australian Endurance Championship
The CAMS Australian Endurance Championship begins this weekend and 28 drivers in 14 cars will line up for Sunday’s huge three-hour race.
Reigning endurance champions, Max Twigg and Tony D’Alberto, will be the ones to beat with Twigg in incredible form so far in 2019, while D’Alberto has also been enjoying a solid season and was quick in the opening round of TCR.
Outside of the usual GT competitors on the grid, including Geoff Emery, Peter Hackett, Nick Kelly and the returning Fraser Ross, there are a number of new faces with a wealth of experience in Australian motor sport lining up.
Garth Tander will be busy at the Island, driving alongside Geoff Emery, while 2017 Virgin Australia Supercars Champion Jamie Whincup will share the seat alongside Yasser Shahin. Former Supercars regular Tim Blanchard also makes his GT debut next to Joseph Ensabella.

CAMS PAYCE Australian Formula 4 Championship
Luis Leeds has been dominating the Championship in his return year with two wins from two rounds this year. The Victorian is in a very good position to claim a third and fourth on a big weekend for the category at the iconic track.
Standing in his way will be second placed Antonio Astuti, Jackson Walls, Lachlan Hughes and Ryan Suhle, to which the latter will be doing double duties this weekend with commitments to the Cup Challenge.
Leeds wont be the only Formula 4 alumni to be competing this weekend with Harry Hayek making his grand return to the championship after stints in the UK.
The other driver joining Hayek as a new face for the category’s double round is AGI Sport's Christian Mansell.
