The CAMS Club Challenge Australia, presented by Famous Insurance, makes its third appearance for the year next month with the Gippsland Car Club to host the popular grassroots event.

Taking place at the iconic Bryant Park in Victoria on 22 September, entries for the team-based event are now open.

With a financial prize pool available to the event’s top three teams for their clubs, the event is a single day team hill climb, teams will have multiple attempts at the Bryant Park circuit with the aim of posting the fastest times against previous track records and other clubs.

Interested parties have until 12 September to enter the event and are required to pay an entry fee of $300 per team to get involved.

With clubs eligible to enter as many as 10 drivers across a maximum of two teams, each team will consist of between three and five drivers, making the event the ultimate battle for bragging rights between the state’s best clubs.

In 2018, it was the host club who came away with the top prize, the Gippsland Car Club proving to too good on their home turf, grabbing both first and second, while the three-man Impreza WRX Club of Victoria secured third place.
