Entries for the Victorian and Queensland CAMS Club Challenge Australia events are now open.
Hosted by the Gippsland Car Club, the Victorian round will take place at Bryant Park on 22 September, with the host club looking to defend their title and go back-to-back in the event.
Running on 5 October, the MG Car Club of Queensland have been given honours of hosting the Queensland event at the popular Mt Cotton with a number of teams set to return in the hopes of beating last year’s champions Holden Sporting Car Club.
As is the case with all Club Challenge Australia events, interested clubs are required to pay an entry fee of $300 per team to get involved and can enter as many as 10 drivers across a maximum of two teams.
While Victorian clubs wanting to take part in the popular event have until 5pm Thursday 12 September to enter the event, Queenslanders still have another two weeks to enter.
With the event to run as a single day hill climb, each team has to be made up of between three and five drivers as they do battle on their respective circuits for a financial prize available to the top three teams.
The CAMS Club Challenge Australia – Victoria takes place at Bryant Park on 22 September, while the Queensland round will run at Mount Cotton on 5 October.
