A huge night is in store for the Northern Territory in the final weekend of September as racing returns under lights to Hidden Valley Raceway for the first time in four years.

The weekend’s NT Titles will be a major highlight on the circuit racing calendar, as more than 30 entries are expected to light up the track on Saturday night.

An impressive list of categories will feature throughout the weekend with Improved Production cars, lap sprints and HQ Holden’s all part of the event, while the Commodore Cup class will make its return to the track after their enduro event earlier this month.

Like most events, the categories will each have qualifying and races on top of a handicapped feature race to cap off each of their weekends, giving every competitors a chance for glory.

Outside of circuit racing, the NT titles will also play host to the Top End Drift Association who will be running an exciting round robin competition for some of the country’s best drifters.

With the NT Titles to host its first night meeting since 2015, North Australian Motor Sport Club vice president Jake Burgess was excited for what was in store throughout the event.

“We are really looking forward to racing under lights again for the 2019 NT Titles event,” Burgess said.

“It has been a couple of years since we have held a night event at Hidden Valley, and it usually brings plenty of exciting racing.

“We are also excited to be once again partnering with the Top End Drift Association to collaborate on this event and showcase drifting and circuit racing in the Territory.”

Entry for the Top End Electrical, Circuit and Drift NT Titles is only a gold coin donation per car, with spectators able to choose between comfortable air conditioning viewing in the stands or the picturesque view under the stars from 7pm onwards.

The NT Titles take place at Hidden Valley Raceway on 28 September.
