The Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 has been run and won, with Scott McLaughlin claiming a memorable victory in a drama-filled race, which came right down to the wire.
While the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship headlined the event with its 161-lap race, the five supporting categories put on a show for the 201,975 attending spectators.

Dunlop Super2 Series
The series wrapped up on Saturday as a precursor to the top 10 shootout and it was series leader Bryce Fullwood who dominated the race from start to finish, however a penalty meant the honours went to Thomas Randle.
While Fulwood was quick all afternoon, starting the race on pole after a fantastic qualifying session, he was handed a 15 second penalty for failing to slow for yellow flags at the tail end of the race, ultimately seeing him finish in second.
It was a consistent race from Randle who started in fifth and occupied third for the majority, before getting into second and staying there until the post-race promotion.
Despite losing first, Fullwood still sits comfortably at the top of the standings with only two rounds remaining, including the next round at Sandown International Raceway on 8-10 November.
Porsche PAYCE Carrera Cup
It was the perfect weekend for the in-form Jordan Love who picked up a third win from the final race of the round to secure a clean sweep and replace Dale Wood at the top of the standings.
Love’s win made it six consecutive race wins in the series, as well as two straight round clean sweeps as the youngster cemented himself as the driver to beat with only one round left in the 2019 season.
It was another weekend to forget for Love’s title rival in Wood, who finished the round in sixth place after struggling on the circuit that has plagued him in recent years – his best result coming in race one with fifth.
It was a tight battle for second place as Cooper Murray continued his rise up the standings with an outright second placing over veteran David Wall.
Each driver had finished second and third respectively heading into the third and final race of the weekend and it was Murray who came out on top.
The Porsche PAYCE Carrera Cups holds its final round later this month as a support category for Supercars at the Gold Coast 600 on 25-27 October.
Toyota 86 Series
Aaron Borg was the winner of a highly entertaining duel between he and Luke King, grabbing top spot in the final race and the round along with it.
Both Borg and King shared top honours in the opening two races with King holding the advantage for the final race starting from P1, however a determined Borg replaced him on the opening lap.
King got back in front just after the halfway point, but couldn’t hold it as Borg passed him again and never relinquished the lead from there on, while King dropped to third on the last lap.
Two top three finishes to Luke van Herwaarde was enough for him to seal third place overall.
The series’ next round take place at Sandown on 8-10 November.
Paynter Dixon Touring Car Masters
The fourth and final race for the category was the Trans Tasman Challenge and Angus Fogg picked up where he left off to win his third straight race to seal a comfortable round win.
After finishing the first race in second place behind Steven Johnson, Fogg was unbeatable for the rest of the weekend as his closest rival in Steve Johnson finished the final race in fourth place.
Aaron Seton’s third in the Challenge secured him the final spot on the outright podium, finishing five points ahead of Adam Bressington who crossed the line in fifth place.
The Masters will be joining the Super2 and Toyota 86 series for its final round at Sandown on 8-10 November.
ECB Superutes
The category saw three different victors across the three races with final race winner Nathan Pretty taking out the round win after being the only driver to finish in the top three in each race.
Despite neither drivers winning a race, Ben Walsh and Tom Alexander finished the weekend in second and third respectively thanks to their consistency.
The series has two more rounds remaining with the next round taking place at the Vodafone Gold Coast 600 on 25-27 October.
