More details about the rollout of these systems will be made available in the coming weeks, including helpful ‘how to’ user guides.
Motorsport Australia will soon introduce a new online member portal, as well a new Event Entry system as part of its ongoing commitment to improve services offered to members.
The new-look systems will be online mid-February.
These exciting changes include more user friendly options and will allow members to have greater control over their Motorsport Australia licences and online profiles, as well as a better mobile experience for those trying to make changes on their tablet or phone.
Clubs and event organisers will also benefit from the new Event Entry system, designed to streamline processes and reduce the burden of those administering events.
Motorsport Australia CEO Eugene Arocca said it was an exciting period for Motorsport Australia members.
“These new IT systems, coupled with our new Motorsport Australia name in 2020, show that we have a real commitment to improving the way people interact and engage with us,” Arocca said.
“We want to make life easier for those wishing to renew their licence or update their details, and these changes will do just that.
“We understand that some people may need some assistance as new users learn the intricacies of the new system, but our membership team will be on standby on the membership hotline to take calls and talk people through any issues they may encounter.
“I’d like to thank all our staff who have put in many hours of development for these new systems, alongside our valued IT partners, InWolk and Melbourne App Development. I’d also like to thank Dr Jeff Brown for his work on the current Event Entry system and helping us manage the changeover.”
While online portal users will be required to reset their password on the first use of the new online portal, however all details will automatically be transferred to the new system as part of the changeover.
