Taking place at the iconic Mount Panorama as a round of the Shannons Motorsport Australia Championships, a variety of different categories will be on show over the Easter long weekend.

Joining the annual motorsport tradition at Bathurst, the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series will make its first appearance at Bathurst, while the main six-hour production car race takes place on Sunday. 

Making up the rest of the busy program will be the Radical Australia Cup, National Trans Am Series, Motorsport Australia GT Championship, MRF Bathurst Excel Challenge and Historic Touring Cars – totalling up to 30 hours of track time across the three days.  

While the Shannons Motorsport Australia Championships second round for 2021 will be adhering to all current New South Wales COVID-19 guidelines, there will be no cap on the amount of fans allowed to attend the event and many of the crowd aspects that make it popular will continue to run. 

A long time fan-favourite feature of the event has been the free access to the paddock area for all ticket holders and that will again take place, as will the opening of the pit building roof– giving spectators a spectacular view of the pit straight.  

A new allocation of camp grounds have been also made available after the first allotment sold out. 

Three-day tickets represent great value at just $45.00 with campgrounds just $90.00 for those looking to stay on track for the weekend. 

All support categories will enjoy practice and qualifying sessions along with multiple races, while the main event will see one of its strongest ever line-ups of 62 cars do battle on Sunday morning from 11:30am AEST.   

The entire six-hour race and key support categories will be broadcast via the screens of Seven and 7mate, while international audiences can tune in via motorsport.tv and Kiwi fans through Sky Sport New Zealand.
