An exciting opportunity for young girls wanting to learn more about motorsport, with upcoming FIA Girls on Track programs now accepting public registrations.
The FIA Girls on Track program aims to build interest in all elements of motorsport amongst school aged girls in order to increase female participation in areas like STEM and motorsport as a whole.
The upcoming programs will be taking place at Triple Eight Race Engineering’s workshop in Queensland later in August, Sandown Raceway in September, and The Bend Motorsport Park in October where participants will complete a number of activities teaching them about all areas in the sport.
The events are also usually attended by high profile motorsport individuals, with many talented Girls on Track ambassadors supporting the program.
With The Bend Motorsport Park’s event to feature as part of the Shannons Motorsport Australia Championships round, participants will also be able to receive free entry into the national event and watch some of the biggest stars battle at Australia’s newest permanent motorsport facility.
The Triple Eight Race Engineering workshop FIA Girls on Track program is the first of the three events and takes place on 31 August.
