Grassroots and state level motorsport takes centre stage this weekend with almost 20 events on the calendar.
New South Wales will host eight total events beginning as early as Thursday with Round 3 of the Porsche Club NSW Supersprint Championship to be held at Sydney Motorsport Park. New south Wales will also get a good helping of dirt-based activity at Colo Park with Driver Testing and a khanacross being run by the Sydney Off Road Racing Association.
Other New South Wales clubs to host events include Murwillumbah Sporting Car Club, Hills District Car Club and the MG Car Club of Newcastle.
A pair of State Championships headline the motorsport action in Victoria with the fourth round of the Victorian Hillclimb Championship based out of Bryant Park and Round 2 of the Victorian Khanacross Championship to be hosted at the Geelong Motorsport Complex.
The Southern District Motorsports Association resumes the action at Fairbairn Park on Sunday with a hill climb event and the FNQ Motorsports Club will run a gravel khanacross and Come & Try Day at Tepon Raceway over both Saturday and Sunday. The Vintage Sports Car Club of WA will host the 2026 Northam Flying 50 at the Northam Street Circuit.
South Australia has three events of its own this week across rally, hill climb and khanacross disciplines.
The 2026 Rally of the Heartland returns for 2026 in the Burra region, serving as the opening round of the South Australian Rally Championship and its partnering series. Sporting Car Club of South Australia hosts the opening round of the 2026 Ray Pank Winter Cup. The EP Autosports Club hosts the Port Neill Khanacross event, coupled with Come & Try Day activities for new participants.
Car clubs and championship organisers will also take a moment on Saturday to remember Australia and New Zealand’s servicemen and servicewomen on Anzac Day.
