Tasmania finally returns to the RSEA Safety Motorsport Australia Rally Championship calendar in June, with crews interested in competing running out of time to enter.
Taking place on 24-26 June, the Shannons Rally Launceston will be split into two heats with crews to battle it out for points in each.
The event will be made up of 195 competitive kilometres spread over 13 special stages, with the rally to kick off on the Friday night with the Rally Show in the town’s Civic Square.
The on stage action then begins on the Saturday, where crews will complete 111 competitive kilometres over six stages with four of them to be more than 20 kilometres.
The rally resumes on Sunday with a further seven stages and the remaining 84 competitive kilometres, which will include a single pass of Myrtle Bank West that will act as the live streamed EROAD Power Stage.
Crews interested in the event have until 5pm AEST on 10 June to enter and can do so via the Motorsport Australia member portal here.
A number of ARC stars already entered with Harry Bates, Lewis Bates and Richie Dalton leading the charge, while youngsters Troy Dowel and Taylor Gill will attempt to square up to the big guns – the latter of which makes his return after missing Western Australia.
The Shannons Rally Launceston takes place in and around the forests of Launceston on 25-26 June.
