After an action-packed fourth round of thrills and spills, the WA Sporting Car Club (WASCC) is back with round five of its 2023 Championship at Cargo.com.au Raceway, Wanneroo.

Catch up on WA Sporting Car Club's YouTube Channel.

Running as the LGC Equipment Hire Cup, the event will boast an exciting field of drivers across the event's eight categories - including Holden HQ, Improved Production Cars, and the round’s biggest category, Formula Vee.

Also joining the billing is the highly requested addition of combined endurance races, available for Saloon Cars, Production Cars, Street Cars and Improved Production Cars competitors.

Awards at the end of the round will be given to a minimum of first place in all categories, with first and second going to competitors in categories with more than six drivers, and first, second and third in categories of more than nine.

While entries for the event have closed, those interested in getting involved as an official are encouraged to get in touch, with more information available on the WA Sporting Car Club Website.

The weekend will begin with 10 minute practice and qualifying sessions for each category, before the commencement of the official races, ranging from eight to 34 laps in length.

Spectators are also invited to attend, with entry $10 per car, or free for club members.

More information about the event, including a full entry list, supplementary regulations and a complete schedule can be found on the WA Sporting Car Club Website.

Round five of the WA Sporting Car Club Championship (LGC Equipment Hire Cup) takes place this Saturday 29 July from 9am.
