Hosting its second round for the year, the Sports Sedans Series has the second largest field for the round with 20 entries, and there are plenty of big names to tackle the Ipswich circuit.

From the old guard in category legend Tony Ricciardello, Steve Lacey and multiple-time champion Steve Tamasi to the current crop of stars, led by Jordan Caruso, the competitors are likely to treat fans to some memorable racing.

Also continuing its season from Eastern Creek are the Radicals, with a solid field of 17 cars to battle it out over two 50-minute races across the weekend, one of which will run on Saturday and the other on Sunday.

As usual, the popular one-make category will have a strong entry list to contest round honours, including defending champion Chris Perini, GT ace Bart Mawer, the power combination of Adam Lisle and Jordan Oon, and young gun Alex Gardner, who picked up a win in his first ever race back in June.

While the national categories will certainly be the ones to watch this weekend, boasting the field unsurprisingly is the state-level Excels category, where 24 drivers will do battle.

Also holding the most races across the event with five in total, the category will be busy across all three days with its first race on Friday, before two are held are both Saturday and Sunday.
