An entry list of 62 cars has been announced for this year’s running of the highly popular Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour.
Attracting more than 60 cars for the fifth time in its eight-year history, the 2024 edition of the event will be one of the biggest as 15 different brands are represented across a range of classes.
Headlining the field are reigning champions Simon Hodges and Jayden Ojeda in the Secure Wealth Advisors BMW M4, as the duo look to do something no other driver has achieved before and win the event back-to-back.
They will have their work cut out for them too as the BMW-dominated X Class features plenty of previous winners and contenders, including the Bruce Lynton Service and Sherrin Racing entries.
While the outright X class has the most contenders, the Extreme Performance line up of both A1 and A2 classes boast the largest fields with 24 drivers spread across both.
The most notable entry across both classes is that of Chris Lillis and Nathan Callaghan, who will be steering the Chevrolet Camaro after many years in a HSV Commodore, marking the first time in the event’s history a Camaro will take part.
The remaining classes will all field strong numbers at the event, including Class D, which will welcome the second highest entry list of 11 cars, while Class C will have nine cars and Class B six cars.
Rounding out the entry list is the four-car Class E, where four Mazdas will do battle in the Easter long weekend event.

Category Manager Charise Bristow was proud the popular endurance race would welcome a strong field once again.
“We’re pleased with the response to the Bathurst 6 Hour this year and we’ve got a great field set to race this Easter,” Bristow said.
“There’s a lot of familiar faces back again but also several new names and new car builds that will be joining the race for the first time.
“It proves how accessible this race is with classes for everyone and just about every type of car.
“Everything is coming together for a great race this year and based on the quality of the field assembling, we’re confident that it will be another Bathurst classic.”
Tickets can be purchased via the official website.
