The entry list for the 2024 Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour has been announced with more than 160 drivers spread across 60 cars to contest the popular production car endurance race.
Taking place over the Easter long weekend, the six-hour endurance race will see a high-quality field take on the famous Mount Panorama, with plenty of former champions and record-holders entered.
Headlining the 61-car entry list is the 2023-winning Secure Wealth Advisors BMW M4, which will be driven once again by Simon Hodges and Jayden Ojeda, while the ever-experienced George Miedecke will join the duo for the race.
With Hodges and Ojeda attempting to do what no other driver has done before and win the event back-to-back, there is no shortage of contenders capable of winning themselves – especially since there are a record eight former race winners entered.
Leading that charge are Beric Lynton and Tim Leahey in their BMW M3, with Supercars star Will Davison to join the 2019 winners, who also still hold the records for the most laps and longest distance completed.
Other notable champions include 2018 winners Grant and Iain Sherrin, 2021 winner Shane Smollen alongside Tom McLennan and David Russell, and Smollen’s Bathurst 6-Hour winning teammate Rob Rubus, who has Scott Turner and Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series star Jordan Cox sharing driving duties.
There are also a handful of Class X contenders who will be looking to secure their first, including Supercars driver Thomas Randle, who will be teaming up with Ben and Michael Kavich, as well as Dean Campbell and Cameron Crick in a brand new BMW M2.
The talent pool for the event runs much further down the entry list than just in Class X.
Leading Class A1 is Bathurst legend John Bowe, who will pilot the Brown David Ford Focus RS with David Brown and Ashley Wright, while Class A2 has a handful of big names to battle it out.
Topping the mix for class honours are Chris Lillis, Josh Muggleton and Nathan Callaghan in the newly included Chevrolet Camaro, with the trio to have their work cut out for them against a handful of Ford Mustangs.
Of those Mustangs, reigning class winners Tony Quinn, Ryder Quinn and Grant Denyer, Supercars star Tim Slade and Chad Parrish, and Super2 young gun Rylan Gray, Chris Delfsma and Ryan Casha, as well as Steve Owen, Aaron Seton, Super2 frontrunner Brad Vaughan and Jake Camilleri will all fancy their chances for class honours.
Other notable names in the remaining classes include the all-female team of Karlie Buccini, Courtney Prince and Suzanne Palermo, Trans Am racers Cody Gillis and Elliot Cleary and Class D favourites Jay Robotham, Alice Buckley and Jack Wood.

Action begins on Good Friday with two practice sessions, before another practice session and qualifying runs on Saturday. The race then commences at 11am AEDT on Easter Sunday, with SBS, Fox Sports and Kayo to broadcast the action live on Saturday and Sunday.
The 2024 Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour takes place at Mount Panorama on 29-31 March.
