The motorsport community turns its attention to the nation’s top-end for the return of the betr Darwin Triple Crown for Round 6 of the Repco Supercars Championship season.
Supporting the Supercars grid will be the Porsche Carrera Cup, Trans Am, the Dunlop Super2 Series and a local favourite with Territory Sedans taking over Hidden Valley Raceway for a single practice session, qualifying and three races to enthral supporters in attendance.
On Friday a Motorsport Australia FIA Girls on Track Inspire program will provide girls aged 8-15 years with a special insight into the motorsport world.
Elsewhere, the Southern District Motorsports Association will run another one of its popular hillclimb events at Fairbairn Park on Sunday, while across the Bass Strait, Club Motori will host a hill climb event at Baskerville Raceway the same day. In Western Australia, the WA Car Club hosts the 2026 Land Surveys Experts Cup Rally out of Collie Motorplex and the Wellington State Forest.
Round 3 of the 2026 Motorsport Australia NSW Motor Race Championship heads to Sydney Motorsport Park, headlining the bundle of events taking place in New South Wales.
The Lithgow District Car Club’s June Khanacross will be run out of its Portland base, there’s a Ladies Come and Try Day hill climb event hosted by the Wollongong Sporting Car Club, the 2026 Hornet State Khanacross run by Hills District Car Club and a S1 rally sprint event hosted by the Central North Coast Sporting Car Club, the Regos and More Taree Club S1 Rallysprint Round 2.
Round 2 of the Hervey Bay Motor Sports Association’s Khanacross Series for 2026 forms part of Queensland’s events for the next few days. Community members will also be spoilt for choice for club events, which include an autocross session with the Ipswich West Moreton Auto Club, Round 5 of the Douglas Shire Motor Sport Association’s Club Championship and the 2026 Morgan Park Hillclimb made possible thanks to the Warwick District Sporting Car Club.
Rally competition will feature prominently in South Australia with SA Rally to host the RPM Fabrication & Design Forest Sprint within the Cafpirco Forest Reserve. Off road adds to the event blend with the running of the 2026 SGORA Club 200 and SGORA Sprint 250 facilitated by the Spencer Gulf Off Road Association.
The Gippsland Car Club’s Winter Cup commences this week at Bryant Park, while the Geelong Motor Sport Club and Western Districts Car Club prepares to join forces again for their interclub khanacross. Deniliquin Sporting Car Club hosts Round 5 of its autocross series and the Porsche Club of Victoria has scheduled its Broadford Winter Sprint for Sunday at Broadford Motorsport Complex.
