IndyCar – Phoenix
Aussie Will Power started from the rear of the field at the good Ranchers 250 at Phoenix Raceway, after a crash in Qualifying a day prior to the main race. Nevertheless, Power’s raw pace and strategy found his way to the front of the pack.
On Lap 207 of 250, Christian Rasmussen tried to go around the outside of Power after several laps of trying, only for the Andretti Global driver to close the door on his rival.
Power’s right rear wheel clipped Rasmussen’s wing, and he was forced into the outside wall.
Rasmussen’s car suffered suspension damage, badly enough that he couldn’t maintain his pace and plummeted to 14th by the chequered flag.
Power went on to finish the race in 16th, having led the race for 10 laps during the session.
IndyCar returns on March 16 with the Grand Prix of Arlington.
Formula Winter Series – Aragón
Up-and-coming Australian motorsport talent George Proudford-Nalder impressed on his single-seater racing debut in Europe, grabbing a class podium finish at Motorland Aragon in the Formula Winter Series, while series regular Noah Killion made moves in the leading pack consistently.
Proudford-Nalder started his transition to single-seaters with the first of what will be two Formula Winter Series events held in Spain to prepare for the upcoming GB4 Championship.

Saturday’s opener was a thriller held in tricky, greasy conditions that steadily worsened as rain arrived. George drove well climbing four places into the top five on the opening lap, only dropping a few spots throughout the rest of the session to finish seventh place overall at the chequered flag while Killion went one place better in sixth.
Both Aussies fell back a few places in the order to finish the second race for the weekend in 15th and 16th, Proudford-Nalder one place ahead of Killion.
George took the flag ninth overall and fifth in his class for race three, ending a positive weekend for the Orange racer ahead of his second visit in Barcelona still to come.

Killion, the reigning 2025 AU4 Champion, finished 17th in the final race of the weekend and will be eager to bounce back in Barcelona later this week.
