More than 30 motorsport events will feature across the country this weekend with Victoria and New South Wales accounting for more than half of the activities.
The larger scale events to take place in New South Wales this week include the 2026 Rally of the Bay in and around Batemans Bay, Round 4 of the Toyota GAZOO Racing Australia Scholarship Series at Sydney Motorsport Park, Round 4 of the NSW Motor Racing Championship at One Raceway and Round 6 of the NSW Motorkhana Championship at Nirimba Education Precinct.
Further bolstering the state and national level competition is a smattering of club events, such as the Westlakes Automobile Club, Gunnedah Motoring Enthusiasts, and North Shore Sporting Club to name a few.
Victoria’s motorsport fervour will be made up entirely of grassroots events kicking off with a busy week for the Victorian Historic Racing Register. Beginning with a club Test & Tune event on Thursday, the club will then have hosting responsibilities for the 2026 Winton Festival of Speed from Friday through to Sunday.
The Ford Four Car Club also has its Ronn Jay Motorsport Weekend khanacross event lined up, club motorkhanas are also on offer from the Victorian 86/BRZ Club, Westmere Motor Sport, Maffra and District Car Club and Pakenham Auto Club, and a khanacross event hosted by the Geelong Motor Sport Club is also on the cards for members in the state.
The third round of the Comiskey Mining Services Motorsport Australia Off Road Championship returns to Loveday in South Australia’s far-east for the Loveday 400.
Serving as the penultimate round of the championship, the three-day event will prove a pivotal moment for crews heading into the season finale with crucial points at stake as they tackle 400km over four different sections.
The WA Car Club will host the state’s only event for the weekend with the running of the Karri Rally from Saturday to Sunday. A major motorsport event in Western Australia and Round 4 of the Motorsport Australia Steelweld WA Rally Championship, the rally is held in the forestry town of Manjimup and is renowned for its demanding high-speed gravel stages and scenic routes through tall timber forests.
Headlining action in the Northern Territory, Round 4 of the Shannons SpeedSeries heads to Hidden Valley for the first time in the category’s history.
A three-day, world-class motorsport event featuring high-performance GT racing, the weekend will see racing from categories such as GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS, Monochrome GT4 Australia, Motorcraft Mustang Cup Australia and local favourite Territory Tourers.
Queensland will cap off an exciting weekend of motorsport with a handful of club events; hosts include Warwick District Sporting Car Club and North Queensland Offroad Racing Association.
