August continues its run as one of the busiest months on the motorsport calendar, with another packed weekend of competition scheduled across the country.
More than 20 events will take place from Friday through Monday, covering everything from major circuit racing and rallying to khanacross, motorkhana, hillclimbs, supersprints and off-road competition.
Queensland will be headlined by the Century Batteries Ipswich Super 440, with the Supercars field set to take on Queensland Raceway from Friday through Sunday. Whitsunday Sporting Car Club will also host a Members Day at Tonker Park on Saturday.
South Australia has three events on the schedule, led by Event 5 of the 2026 Motorsport Australia Summit South Australian Motor Racing Championship at The Bend Motorsport Park. The Southern Districts Car Club will host rounds of both the South Australian Khanacross Championship and its Club Championship at Mid Murray Motorplex, while the Mini Pave 250 will bring long-course off-road competition to Port Germein.
Tasmania will feature two events, including Round 4 of the Motor Sports Club of Tasmania’s Khanacross Series at Symmons Plains Raceway. Club Motori Italia will stage the Lufra Regularity Hillclimb at Pirates Bay Drive.
Victoria has the biggest contingent of events this weekend, with a broad mix of disciplines spread across the state.
The Drapers Civil Ada River Rally will kick off proceedings on Friday and Saturday, while Calder Park, Bagshot, Boisdale, Broadford, Swan Hill and several other venues will host events across the weekend.
Among the Victorian highlights are Round 7 of the Motorsport Australia Victorian Motorkhana Championship, Round 5 of the Alfa Romeo Owners’ Club Sprint, Round 5 of the Australian Crosscar Championship and a Kyneton Car Club Junior Development event.
New South Wales has six events scheduled, including the Porsche Club NSW Driver Training Night at Sydney Motorsport Park on Wednesday. The state will then feature a strong selection of khanacross events on Saturday and Sunday, alongside the sixth round of the Porsche Club NSW Supersprint Championship.
