More than $3,000 has been generated for Motorsport Australia affiliated car clubs through my105.com’s Club Contribution Scheme, providing valuable funds to grassroots motorsport across Australia.

Launched in July 2025, the initiative sees five per cent from every advertisement placed on my105.com donated to the seller’s nominated Motorsport Australia affiliated sporting or enthusiast car club.

Since its launch, the scheme has generated 451 individual contributions, with a total of $3,130 allocated to affiliated car clubs as nominated by individual advertisers.

To date, the top 10 clubs to benefit include:

  • Historic Rally Association Inc
  • Australian Racing Drivers Club
  • Historic Racing Car Club (Queensland)
  • Porsche Club of Victoria Inc
  • Lotus Club Queensland Inc
  • Lotus Club Victoria Inc
  • Gippsland Car Club Inc
  • Victorian Historic Racing Register
  • Sporting Car Club of SA
  • Bathurst Light Car Club

The scheme was established by Motorsport Australia partner my105.com as a way of giving back to the communities that underpin grassroots motorsport, with the contribution coming directly from the proceeds of an advertisement rather than being an additional cost to the seller. Every cent goes to the club.

My105 Group CEO James Curtain said the initiative was designed to provide ongoing support to clubs across the country.

“We feel that this is an excellent way we can further extend our support of Motorsport Australia and make a direct contribution to the grassroots clubs that keep the sport alive and well across the country,” Curtain said when the scheme launched.

“When a seller places an advertisement on my105.com, they’ll have the option to choose from a list of affiliated Motorsport Australia sporting and enthusiast car clubs to nominate where their donation is to go.”

The contribution can then be used by clubs to support the many aspects of running a grassroots motorsport organisation, such as trophies, club functions, track maintenance and other club activities.

The latest figures serve as a reminder for Motorsport Australia affiliated clubs and their members to make use of the scheme when buying and selling through my105.com.

Continued participation can help direct further funds towards the clubs that support motorsport at the grassroots level.
