The calendar for the 2024 FIA Formula One World Championship has been announced, with 24 races making up next year’s race line-up.
As expected, the Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix has been confirmed on the schedule and will once again serve as the third race of the calendar.
Next year’s event will take place one week earlier than when this year’s took place, with the new date now 22-24 March.
The Australian round will follow the season opening rounds in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, which also take place in March, before the championship heads to Japan two weeks after.
Both of Formula 1’s feeder series, Formula 2 and Formula 3, will again race at Albert Park , making for another stellar weekend of motorsport after this year’s record breaking attendance saw the round become the most attended Sporting event in Melbourne’s history.
Returning the championship in its first appearance since 2019 is the Chinese Grand Prix, which succeeds the Japanese Grand Prix, while the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix will run in November, before the season finishes with Qatar and Abu Dhabi in December.
Interested individuals wanting to volunteer at the Grand Prix can register in October but can sign up as a Motorsport Australia official now.
