More than 120 drivers will compete at the 2019 Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour next month as 40 teams battle it out for one of the most prestigious titles in Australian motor sport.
The international endurance race, which also acts as the opening round of the 2019 Intercontinental GT Challenge presented by Pirelli, will see a remarkable 22 different nationalities representing 13 brands from 10 different countries.
The 12-hour entry list includes seven 12-Hour Bathurst winners, three of which are two-time 12-Hour Bathurst winners, including Craig Lowndes and Paul Morris who headline the Australian list of drivers.
Fellow 2017 12-Hour Bathurst winner Jamie Whincup will join Lowndes, the pair to line up in the Triple 888 Mercedes-AMG Team Vodafone alongside 2018 Virgin Australia Championship Supercars runner-up and 2016 12-Hour Bathurst winner Shane Van Gisbergen.
While Audi Motorsport will not have their 2018 winning crew attending, the German team will be led by another two-time 12-Hour Bathurst winner in Christopher Mies, who headlines the International charge along with fellow Germans Christopher Haase and Markus Winkelhock.

Japanese driver Katsumasa Chiyo is also another previous 12-Hour winner to enter this year’s event, the 2015 champion driving alongside countryman Matsuda Tsugio and Australian Joshua Burdon in the KC Motorgroup prepared GT-R Nismo GT3 K.
Some of the other notable drivers making their way down under include British driver Pete Storey, Kelvin Van der Linde from South Africa and Frenchman Romain Dumas.
Australia will have their share of big names also competing including previous Bathurst 6 Hour winner Paul Morris, Bathurst Carrera Cup record lap holder Jaxon Evans and Supercars’ Bathurst lap-record holder David Reynolds also featuring in the event.
Reynolds, along with Lowndes, Whincup and van Gisbergen aren’t the only Supercar drivers to be competing in the endurance event with Garth Tander, Luke Youlden, Nick Percat, Tim Slade and Todd Hazelwood all set to be part of the action.
Another Supercars regular in Chaz Mostert is one of three Allan Simonsen Pole award winners to form part of the field, with Mostert also looking to add to his Bathurst 6 hour title and Production Car lap record.
While there is a host of talent coming from Australia’s big championship, there is a wealth of experience on the international scene as well.
There are also British Touring Car champions, winners of multiple Blancpain GT Endurance, Sprint and Asian titles, seven Spa 24 Hour title holders making up the list. Two outright winners of the LeMans 24 Hour and 10 Nurburgring 24 Hour winners are also featuring in this star studded entry list.
Class B, C and the Invitational class also feature champions from top one-make championships around the world, including Brenton and Stephen Grove who return to Australia after competing in the FIR GT Nations Cup in November last year.
The Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour takes place at Mount Panorama in Bathurst from 31 January to 3 February.
