The CAMS Victorian Off Road Championship is one of two state events this weekend and with 23 cars already entered into the event, it’s set to be an entertaining weekend of off road racing.
Based at the same location as the BFGoodrich CAMS Australian Off Road Championship’s third round in August, VORC drivers will get 29 laps at the 8.7km course, tackling more than 240 competitive kilometres across three sections.
While 2018 champion Alan Dixon is yet to confirm his entry, the dynamic entry list features some of the state’s big players including Justin Watt, Eric Schlifener and Nigel Pendlebury. The list also features four drivers from interstate with two from South Australia and two from New South Wales.
With this being the only event held at Rainbow ahead of the August’s national event, off road fans are encouraged to make their way down to the country town to get a piece of the action.
