Entries for Adelaide Hills Rally are now open, with competitors encouraged to register their interest in the popular event.

There is now just over a month to go until the CAMS Australian Rally Championship (ARC)  heads to South Australia for its fifth round of 2019 and an action-packed weekend of motor sport is on the cards.

This year’s event will be the second under the current event organisers following a successful inaugural running in 2018 with approximately 40 crews across multiple championships taking on the picturesque South Australian winery district.

In 2019, there will be much of the same characteristics that made last year such a success.

Crews will be taking on 205 competitive kilometres through 18 stages and two super special stages, with the visit to Australia’s newest world class race track for a unique rally head-to-head experience at The Bend Motorsport Park.

This year, the action at The Bend will take place on Saturday night, instead of Friday, while organisers have also confirmed there will be some revamped Sunday stages to challenge competitors and impress spectators.

While the ARC will take centre stage, the event will also be hosting rounds for the MRF CAMS SA Rally Championship, CAMS SA Clubman Series, CAMS State of Origin Cup, AHR Introductory Rally and more.

Crews wanting to compete at the Adelaide Hills Rally have until 8pm AEST on 30 August to enter, while Intro and AHR Stadium Rallysprint competitors have a further two weeks to register.

The 2019 Adelaide Hills Rally takes place in Adelaide Hills on 21-23 September.
