The CAMS NSW Motor Racing Championship enters its seventh round for 2019 this weekend.

Historic Sandown

When: 25-27 October
Where: Sandown International Raceway, Victoria
 
Fast paced racing, beautiful classic cars and off-track entertainment, all of which take place at one of Australia’s most iconic race tracks. What more could one ask for?
 
Around 250 entries are expected to be competing in the event across a range of exciting categories such as Formula 5000, HQ Holdens, Historic Touring Cars and regularities. 
 
With the gates opening at 7am, the action on both days gets underway at 7am and goes all day with each category getting qualifying and multiple races throughout the weekend.
 

Vodafone Gold Coast 600

When: 24-27 October
Where: Gold Coast, QLD
 
The Virgin Australia Supercars Championship heads to up north for the second round of the PIRTEK Enduro Cup after a thrilling Supercheap Auto Bathrust 1000.
 
Last year’s corresponding round was marred by the weather gods as thunderstorms and heavy rainfall saw the second race of the weekend suspended, spoiling Chaz Mostert and James Moffat’s race one win.
 
With nothing but sun scheduled all weekend, all 26 entries fighting for top spot and a number of support categories also set to heat up the street circuit, fans can expect a entertaining affair in the Gold Coast 600.
 

 

 

Make Smoking History Experts Cup

When: 26 October
Where: Collie, WA
 
The CAMS Zestino Tyres Western Australian Rally Championship enters its final round for 2019 with one of the biggest fields for the year as 38 crews take on 110 competitive kilometres in the plantations around Wellington Dam.
 
While John O’Dowd and Toni Feaver have already claimed the championship after a clean sweep of round wins earlier on in the year, second placed Ben Searcy will have his hands tied against a chasing pack made up of Barry McGuinness, Craig Rando and Razvan Vlad 
Also taking place simultaneously is Clubman Cup and Clubman Masters class with both events covering the first three stages of the event.  
 
With free entry into the Wallsend Trotting Grounds Service Park and spectator points being at two of the six stages, rally fans have a mixture of different vantage points to watch the season finale. 
 
 
 

The CAMS DEWALT SXS Australian Championship Round 4

When: 26 October
Where: Mafeking Rover Park, Vic
 
The championship always offers exciting racing and entertaining battles and this weekend’s grand final is no different with the title race expected to go down to the final lap.
 
With up to 20 drivers taking part in the round-robin style off road event, it’s a two and half horse race for the glory as James Shipp leads Tim Liston and Jackson Evans ahead of the final.
 
Neither of the three drivers have won a round yet but their consistency has kept them in the running and all of them will be looking to secure their first win of the year.
 
Free for all spectators, the action gets underway from 10am local time with five heats made up of three races, before two semi-finals set up a grand final and an eventual winner.
