The schedule for the fourth round of the Shannons Motorsport Australia Championships has been confirmed, with a jam-packed weekend of exciting racing for Queensland motorsport fans.

Seven categories will take to Morgan Park in Warwick for what will be a country-themed round, featuring plenty of world-class drivers in a range of impressive machinery.

Once again, the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series will feature at the event, alongside the National Trans Am Series, Gulf Western Oil Touring Car Masters, Battery World Aussie Racing Cars Super Series, Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge, MRF Tyres Australian Production Car Series and the Precision National Sports Sedans Series.

Each category will enjoy three races across Saturday and Sunday, while the Battery World Aussie Racing Cars Super Series and MRF Tyres Australian Production Car Series will race four times over the course of the weekend.

The action begins with a busy Friday of practice and qualifying, with spectators able to access the circuit for free on Friday only. Fans must register for a ticket Friday, with free registration required for contact tracing purposes. Friday tickets can be secured here.

Discounted weekend passes are also available, alongside individual day tickets for those only planning to attend once across the weekend.

Shannons Motorsport Australia Championships Director Michael Smith said the event promised to deliver significant benefits for Warwick and its surrounds, while putting on a show for motorsport fans eager to get their racing fix.

“There are seven categories making up the fourth round of the Shannons Motorsport Australia Championships at Morgan Park and we are eagerly anticipating our return to Queensland for a huge weekend,” Smith said.

“The support from the local community and the Southern Downs Regional Council has also been terrific and we are extremely grateful to be able to bring high quality national motorsport to Warwick.

“Understandably we will also be keeping a close eye on the ongoing COVID situation in Victoria and will remain in close contact with the various governments and all categories as the event draws closer.”

Fans unable to attend the venue can also watch the action across the screens of Seven in Australia, with live coverage on 7mate from 10am – 2pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Fans eager for more can also stream racing via 7plus from 10am to 3.30pm AEST on Saturday, while Sunday’s stream will showcase back-to-back on track action from 9.30am to 3pm AEST.

The fourth round of the Shannons Motorsport Australia Championships takes place at Morgan Park in Queensland from 26-28 June.
