The Shannons Insurance NTESERIES has kicked off for its third annual esports series.

The series was created to bring together the Northern Territory motorsport community to race behind the wheel virtually, when on track racing was unable to happen. The series quickly grew interest and turned into a nationwide eseries that saw racers from a variety of different motorsport disciplines across Australia and New Zealand, band together and battle it out in the virtual world. 



In 2022, the series brought a new challenge to its entrants, doubling the number of races and introducing TCR cars to its current Supercar format. The challenge of alternating between a front-wheel drive TCR car for Race One, to an overpowered rear wheel drive V8 for Race Two enticed many who were keen to take on the new challenge. 
 
This year, entries for the series reached capacity in a record time of less than 45 minutes, showing just how popular the series has become over the years since its formation. The five round series competes at various tracks around the world, with a series finale at the famous Mount Panorama, Bathurst. 



With over 45 drivers and guest wildcards competing in the series, the action is sure to be a plenty. To learn more about the series and how drivers battle it out virtually, all rounds are live streamed via the NTESERIES website.
