AOG Porsche Cup returns home to close out 2022

Monday 29 August, 2022
After 15 rounds of virtual racing across Europe and the Americas, the Aussie Online Gaming (AOG) Porsche Cup returns home to the Asia-Pacific region to close out the series.

The final five rounds of racing will feature popular circuits such as the Fuji International Speedway, as well as the Twin Ring Motegi in Japan.

There will be a number of Australian circuits also on the cards including Winton Motor Raceway, Phillip Island Circuit and Sandown International Raceway - the latter of which will cap off the season.

Each event in the series will feature between two and three sprint races, as well as mini endurance races.

After what has been a long, exciting season, titles are still up for grabs with Simon Mezzomo of 9INE5IVE SimSports and Drop Bear Motorsports representative Tyson Broad only separated by 79-points in the Pro-AM class, while Garioch Booth Motorsports' Nicholas Garioch holds a healthy 276-point lead over Pulse Racing Team’s Javan Wood in the AM Class.

It is also possible for Pro Class leader Beau Alberts to claim the class title as early as the next week, courtesy of the Atlus Sports driver's 822-point season .

Any drivers who are interested in joining the series for the last five rounds can now do so for a reduced entry fee of only $5.

Newcomers will now be able to see how they stack up against the season regulars by checking out the unofficial standings page, which has specifically been created for the final five rounds of the season.

Fans can check out the events live with Sim Speed Esports Network to broadcast the events here.
