Mathew Huxley claimed a solid victory in the third round of the Motorsport Australia NSW Off Road Championship, taking out the Jim Anderson Kempsey 300 by more than four minutes.

A total of 37 crews took part in the event however, it was Huxley who proved too good for the event beating Darren Williamson by a comfortable margin, while Ben Scott rounded out the podium.

The round was ultimately won by Huxley on the back of the opening section of the weekend, where a three-minute win set him up for the rest of the event.

Despite competitive times in the remaining races from Williamson and Scott, it wasn’t enough to catch the Pro Buggy winner.

Williamson and Scott themselves had an entertaining battle in the second and third races, however it was the first race that would prove the difference – with the latter going more than three minutes faster.

With all three behind the wheel of Pro Buggies, it marked a dominant day for the class.
The next best driver was Dean Meginley, who steered his Sportslite buggy to fourth place a further four minutes behind. Rounding out the top five outright was Des Wood, although the Super 1650 winner was more than 20 minutes behind Meginley.
