Musical acts confirmed for Bathurst 12 Hour

Tuesday 24 January, 2023
The entertainment for next month’s LIQUI MOLY Bathurst 12 Hour won’t just take place on the famous Mount Panorama circuit, with a critically acclaimed musical line-up to run at the popular event for the first time ever.

Performing on the famous Mount Panorama pit building rooftop at the conclusion of both Saturday and Sunday’s action will be DJ Brooke Evers and DJ/Saxophone player Ryan Livings.

The duo would be familiar to Supercars fans, having performed together on the podium at the 2022 Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 and they will be on hand again to keep the party going long into the night.

Event Director Shane Rudzis said Brooke Evers was confident the duo would be a welcome addition for event goers.

"These performances will add an exciting new dimension to the already thrilling LIQUI MOLY Bathurst 12 Hour race weekend and we can't wait for fans to experience it,” Rudzis said.

“This is just one of the many ways we're working to enhance the race-day experience for our fans.

“This duo provided one of the highlights of the Supercars Championship last year and we can’t wait to have them behind the decks on the famous rooftop at Mount Panorama.”

In addition to the musical act, fans attending the highly anticipated Bathurst 12 Hour race will be treated to plenty of entertainment over the course of the weekend.

The activations are highlighted by the appearance of Formula 1 World Champions Oracle Red Bull Racing, who will have a previous generation F1 car completing feature laps, as well as F1 vehicles accessible to the public in the paddock area.

As for the main event, there will be a plethora of high-profile stars in action with Moto GP legend Valentino Rossi among the entrants.

Big names more accustomed to the track include reigning King of the Mountain Shane van Gisbergen, Bathurst great Craig Lowndes, Supercars legend Jamie Whincup and Repco Supercars Championship stars David Reynolds and Lee Holdsworth.

Doubling as the season opener for the 2023 Intercontinental GT Challenge powered by Pirelli season, Australian audiences will be able to watch the race live and ad-break free on Fox Sports and Kayo Sports, with live, free-to-air coverage on the Seven Network and 7plus around Australia.
