Taylor makes Rallycross debut

Molly Taylor made her FIA RX2e Rallycross Championship debut.
Molly Taylor had her first taste of FIA RX2e Rallycross Championship action over the weekend after making her debut for #yellowsquad.
After signing with the successful team just last week, Taylor took to the streets of Mettet, Belgium for her first of two scheduled appearances with the new team.
While her first couple of stints behind the wheel didn’t go to plan, with a spin in Heat 1 and a broken suspension arm in Heat 2, Taylor carried on showing massive improvement across the weekend in what was her first time in the category.
Come Sunday's finals, Taylor was faced with challenging conditions that saw her thrive on many occasions, despite the results not going her way on paper.
“It was a tight group in qualifying, so I was happy to be mixing in that bunch in my first go,” Taylor said on social media.
“The first two heats weren’t quite so good with a spin and broken suspension arm, but I feel like I got a pretty comprehensive Rallycross introduction.
“It's a completely different style of driving so learning a huge amount each time I go out, which is what this weekend is all about.”
Taylor will have another crack at the FIA RX2e Rallycross Championship in Estering, Germany on 19-20 August.
