The MG & Mini Car Clubs of Tasmania have opened entries for their joint hill climb and circuit sprint event, scheduled to take place later this month.
 
Taking place over one day at the famous circuit, the event will run as a hill climb and sprint where competitors will have multiple sessions to post the fastest lap times during the day.
 
With anyone able to enter and bring their own road car, and entries being open to both members and non-members, anyone can participate within the day.
 
“It’s a combined run day between MG and Mini car clubs and is open to anyone," Club President Marcus Hart said.

"We will have separate groups for both the hill climb and sprints with the top performers receiving trophies for their achievements.
 
“We’re excited to put on the day and with entries open to adults, juniors and families, it is sure to create a great atmosphere on the day”
 
Interested participants can enter the event through the Motorsport Australia Member Portal and have until 5pm AEST on Thursday 13 July to register a place, with entry fees starting from $75 for juniors and $140 for adults.
  
The MG and Mini car club Hillclimb and Circuit Sprints takes place at Baskerville Raceway on 16 July.
