The MG Car Club of Tasmania and Mini Car Club of Tasmania are gearing up for a special event this Sunday at Baskerville Raceway with a Club Day and Supersprints.

With over 20 entries confirmed, the event is set to deliver a competitive and enjoyable day for all the participants culminating in a Supersprint.

The event will kick off with observation laps, giving participants the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the iconic Baskerville track in a relaxed setting.

Participants will then take part in timed runs, grouped in sets of four based on previous similar lap times.

This format ensures that participants can enjoy close competition with others at their own pace, making it an engaging and challenging experience for all.

Trophies will be awarded across various categories, adding an extra layer of excitement and recognition for standout performances.

One of the event organisers, Marcus Hart expressed his enthusiasm for the day ahead.

“These days are low stress and good fun,” Hart said.

“A golden opportunity for car enthusiasts to have a drive around an excellent racetrack such as Baskerville.

“We even have a BBQ and drinks on-site and the proceeds go to the clubs.”

The MG Car Club of Tasmania and Mini Car Club of Tasmania’s Club Day and Supersprint takes place on Sunday 22 September at Baskerville Raceway.
