The XR6 & XR8 Club of Queensland has been announced as the Meguiar’s Car Club of the Month for the month of July.
Based out of Logan Central, the XR6 & XR8 Club of Queensland has provided family-friendly motorsport for more than 25 years, taking its members on an abundance of adventures all over the state.
The club is a great example of an enthusiast club that consistently runs events and takes pride in building and maintaining its community.
In addition to its motorsport activities and running approximately 20 events per year, the club is committed to helping others by undertaking fundraising initiatives for various charities including Ronald McDonald House, Beyond Blue and Nourish Street and more.
While its name highlights the iconic XR6 and XR8 models of the Ford badge, the club also welcomes owners of Ford Falcon vehicles from the Ford Tickford Experience, Tickford and Ford Performance Vehicle eras.
Membership includes a diverse range of vehicles spanning from the EB Falcon through to the final FG X models, which in turn has created a welcoming environment for all generations of Ford performance vehicles.
The club continues to pride itself on bringing together like-minded people who share a passion for their vehicles, whether they enjoy discussing technical knowledge, attending display days, participating in organised cruises or simply spending time with fellow members.
Experienced owners and club members are always ready to offer advice and support, while partners and families are encouraged to become involved in club activities.
Members also enjoy access to sponsor discounts and a varied calendar of events throughout the year.
As an incorporated association in Queensland, the club places a strong emphasis on responsible vehicle ownership, safe driving and maintaining a positive public image, while encouraging members to contribute ideas and help shape the club’s future through committee involvement and keep the reputation of the Ford brand in high regard.
