Winton 300 to run with Motorsport Australia

Motorsport Australia has worked with Benalla Auto Club to ensure drivers can compete in the upcoming Viola Private Wealth Winton 300.

Motorsport Australia will help Benalla Auto Club to deliver the Winton 300 taking place on 28-30 August, providing any competitor who does not currently hold a Motorsport Australia licence with a quick and easy way to compete as planned, transitioning to a Motorsport Australia licence.

Motorsport Australia CEO Josh Blanksby said it was important to be flexible and quick to find a solution to support Benalla Auto Club and competitors keen to be part of the Winton 300 event.

“Our role is to help more people enjoy motorsport in a safe, fair and fun way and this bridging licence is an easy short-term solution to make that happen.” said Blanksby.

“As is the case with every Motorsport Australia-permitted event, the Winton 300 will run with world-class insurance coverage and the support of a highly experienced team on the ground.”

“Benalla Auto Club is committed to delivering a busy calendar of events and we are there to help with a quick and practical solution for the motorsport community.”

The Viola Private Wealth Winton 300 will run on 28-30 August at Winton Motor Raceway.
