Australian rally champion Molly Taylor will return to Veloce Racing alongside rallycross star Kevin Hansen for the 2026 FIA Extreme H World Cup, reuniting a driver pairing that claimed the inaugural title last year.

Taylor and Hansen were among the standout combinations in Extreme E, later racing together for Jameel Motorsport in Extreme H’s predecessor before securing the inaugural FIA Extreme H World Cup title the following year in 2025.

For Taylor, the new season represents another significant chapter in an already storied career.

The Australian rose through the rally ranks before moving to Europe, where she became the first woman to score a Junior WRC podium with third at Rally Finland in 2014.

She returned home to claim the 2016 Australian Rally Championship with Subaru before moving into Extreme E, where she won the inaugural championship with Rosberg X Racing in 2021 and again in 2024 for Veloce Racing.

Now, Taylor is preparing for another milestone as she returns to competition just months after welcoming her first child.

“Kevin and I have developed a fantastic partnership, and winning the FIA Extreme H World Cup together last year has only given us even more confidence in what we can achieve,” Molly Taylor said.

“It feels very special to be returning to Veloce and bringing that experience with us. This time we’re also embarking on a very different journey together having just welcomed my first child and Kevin having recently become a dad too.

“Coming back as a new mum will make this next chapter incredibly special, and undoubtedly challenging, but when I get behind the wheel, my ambitions won’t have changed.

Taylor and Hansen also bring significant experience with Veloce, having helped the British squad establish itself as one of Extreme E’s leading teams.

Across two campaigns, Veloce recorded five X Prix victories and nine podiums.

“I want to get back to my best, compete with no limitations and help the team fight at the front from the very beginning,” Taylor added.

“I maintained my training throughout my pregnancy with the goal of racing in Qiddiya City at the end of October and am extremely grateful to have had so much support throughout this journey. I’m incredibly motivated for the challenge ahead.”

Hansen brings an impressive rallycross record, having become the youngest FIA European Rallycross Champion in 2016 before establishing himself as a regular frontrunner in the FIA World Rallycross Championship.

Veloce Racing will make its Extreme H debut at Qiddiya City in Saudi Arabia from October 29–31, with Taylor and Hansen aiming to build on their championship-winning partnership as the hydrogen-powered series enters its second season.
