In 2025, Sporting Car Club of SA will play host to the 2025 Motorsport Australia Supersprint Championship.
The Motorsport Australia Supersprint Championship is part of the National Speed & Auto Test Championships, this event is run annually at a different venue each year. Grassroots competitors have an opportunity to compete nationally for the title.

The Motorsport Australia Supersprint Championship is your chance to compete on a national stage. Designed for drivers with a minimum experience in three Speed events.
Before entering, please ensure you carefully read all the information provided below, including the eligibility, licence and entry requirements.
Entries Open: 1 August 2025
Entries Close: 5 October 2025
Entry Fee: $625 (for two days of entry)
Early Bird Discount of $75: 1 August – 17 September

Competitors must hold a Motorsport Australia Speed Licence at a minimum, and must have competed in a minimum of three Speed events during the preceding 12 months.
The organiser will consider requests for a dispensation based on evidence provided by the driver of their participation history.
Competitors will be required to nominate their Vehicle Class Code in the Motorsport Australia entry system, in accordance with the Motorsport Australia National Speed Event Championship Classes.
A maximum of two drivers can be entered with the same car.

Spectators are welcome to this event, there will be parking, food and amenities available for all spectators, no tickets are required for this event.

What is the Motorsport Australia Supersprint Championship?
The Motorsport Australia Supersprint Championship is part of the Speed and Auto Test National Championships. These events occur annually at a different state each year.
Sprints and Supersprints are mostly conducted at the recognised motor racing circuits around the country. Individual or small numbers of cars are released at regular intervals onto the track and generally complete several laps at a time racing against the clock, and not the other drivers out there at the time.
Whilst sprints are not actually races, they give participants a great feel for what it is like to drive at high speed competitively around a race track.
