Race For A Cure returns to Bathurst 6 Hour

Team Thryv and Race For A Cure will return to Mount Panorama this Easter to raise crucial funds for breast cancer research and trials at the 2026 Bathurst 6 Hour.

The partnership hits Bathurst’s iconic circuit from 3-5 April, where Team Thryv | Race For A Cure’s race-prepared #92 BMW M2 enters the six-hour enduro in its signature orange livery.

Supercars driver Thomas Randle will lead the driver line-up alongside Ben and Michael Kavich.

“Race For A Cure has always come from the heart,” Ben said.

“What started as something deeply personal for our family has grown into a platform that lets us give back in a meaningful way and keep pushing for better outcomes for others facing breast cancer.

“The Bathurst 6 Hour is one of the biggest stages in Australian motorsport and an amazing opportunity to shine a light on this very important cause, rally support and keep building momentum.

“There is a real connection between racing and small business. In both, you need determination, resilience and people around you who believe in what you are doing. That is why this partnership feels so genuine. We are proud to have Thryv alongside us again.

“We are also excited about what is ahead with Thryv, with some significant announcements to come in the months ahead, so stay tuned.”

It marks a high-profile moment for fundraising and awareness, helping drive support for Breast Cancer Trials, while carrying one family’s deeply personal mission onto one of Australian motorsport’s biggest stages.

After Toula Kavich’s breast cancer diagnosis following the 2016 Bathurst 6 Hour, the Kavich family made a choice that would reshape their involvement in the sport and Race For A Cure was born.

Ben and Michael turned their passion for racing into a platform for purpose, building a fundraising movement that has already raised more than $266,000 for Breast Cancer Trials.

For Toula, the 2026 Bathurst campaign is an emotional time, even 10 years after the diagnosis that changed the course of her family’s life.

“When I was diagnosed with breast cancer a decade ago, it was one of the hardest periods our family had ever faced,” Toula stated.

“That is why this means so much. To see something so personal grow into a platform that is helping others and supporting vital research is incredibly powerful.

“I am so proud of what Ben and Michael have built through Race For A Cure, and so grateful to everyone who has stood behind it. It is deeply emotional to know that from something so difficult, something meaningful and lasting can grow.”

Thomas, also previously diagnosed with cancer, brings both elite racing credentials and lived understanding to the Race For A Cure mission.

All of the pieces that go into the Race For A Cure initiative, makes Randle’s involvement a particularly meaningful one on one of Australian motorsport’s biggest stages.

Head of Thryv Australia and New Zealand Elise Balsillie said small business owners know what it means to operate under pressure.

“They make decisions on the run, adapt quickly, back their people and keep showing up with purpose,” Balsillie added.

“That same determination is what you see in endurance racing, and it is a big part of why this partnership resonates so strongly.

“Ben, Michael and Toula have created something incredibly powerful through Race For A Cure. They have taken a personal experience and turned it into action, awareness and real fundraising impact. We are proud to stand with them and help amplify that mission.”

The Bathurst 6 Hour will be a powerful Easter weekend for Team Thryv | Race For A Cure, as the campaign again prepares to build visibility for its cause and encourage support beyond race weekend.
