The schedule for the second round of the Shannons Trophy Series has been confirmed with more than 15 hours of track time on the cards for the three-day race meeting at Queensland Raceway.
Following a highly successful inaugural round at Sydney Motorsport Park, the series will welcome a handful of popular categories, some of which are returning for their second appearance with the series.
Linking back up with the Shannons Trophy Series from the opening round is the Workhorse Radical Cup Australia and the Toyota Gazoo Racing Australia Scholarship Series, while other national categories such as the Australian Formula Open and Precision National Sport Sedans Series will also feature.
Joining the four national categories will be the popular Circuit Excels Series – a regular feature category in the Motorsport Australia Queensland State Circuit Championships.
Sticking with their traditional formats, the Toyota Gazoo Racing Australia Scholarship Series, Formula Open and the Sport Sedans will have three 20-minute races apiece, while the Radicals will enjoy its regular running of two 50-minute races.
The Excels will enjoy the most races across the weekend with five 25-minute outings in total, the first starting on Friday afternoon before two take place on both Saturday and Sunday.
