The ‘Little Heroes’ series tells the stories of five talented Australian drivers.
Fans of motorsport can now share the stories of five fabled Australian drivers with the next generation through a brand new series of children’s brooks, ‘Little Heroes’.

Celebrating Australian racing icon Peter Brock, Dick Johnson, Jim Richards, John Bowe and 2016 RSEA Safety Motorsport Australia Rally Champion Molly Taylor, the picture story books take children through the life, times and careers of these individuals.

Featuring eight original pieces of artwork by celebrated design team Avoltha, the book also contains a biography of each driver and a pool of statistics that made each driver so successful.

The limited edition books retail at $19.99 each plus freight and handling and can be pre-ordered ahead of their release in July 2021.

Written and published by experienced motorsport media stalwart Grant Rowley, the books were inspired by his passion for the sport.

“I’ve grown up with motorsport. Ever since I watched Dick Johnson crash through trees when I was two years old, not a day has passed where I haven’t thought about race cars,” he said.

“The Little Heroes books are my tip of the hat to these five superstars of our Aussie motorsport scene.

“Cartoons and drawings are another life-long love of mine. I guess I've never really grown up! I still love watching cartoons, and I feel there's no better way to celebrate the lives of these great drivers than through illustrations and some easy-to-read poetry.”
