Whitsundays Festival of Motoring
When: 3-5 May
Where: Whitsundays, Queensland

Possibly one the biggest events on the beautiful tropical coast of Queensland Australia this weekend, the festival is a mixture of racing, displays and entertainment.

Headlining the festival is the new Rally Whitsundays, which has been confirmed as the season opener for the 2019 P3 Solutions CAMS Queensland Rally Championship on Saturday.

Taking place either side of the rally is a car beach parade and welcome party on Friday, as well as a Show & Shine and Khanacross on Sunday. Sunday evening will feature the festival's wrap party with musical acts, food stalls and more car displays all part of the package.

Fans of two wheels will also get their fix throughout the weekend with a special motorbike beach sprint to take place at the Bowen Foreshore on Saturday while the rally is taking place.

Richard Bennett Memorial Enduro
When: 4-5 May
Where: Parilla, South Australia

An exciting event on the South Australia off road calendar features 21 of the state’s best drivers tackling more than 215 competitive kilometres of sandy track.

With the Parilla-based event serving as one the final major meetings before the iconic Tatts Finke Desert Race early next month, a number of drivers will use it as a tune up including the event's reigning champions Jack Rhodes and David Pullino, while 2017 runner-ups Chris and Colin Johnson return to the action to try and steal victory from Rhodes.

The second round of the CAMS South Australian Off Road Championship is free for fans to enter to enjoy the fun event.
