Sandown International Raceway has been immortalised in Esports after being the latest Australian circuit to be included on the popular iRacing platform.
 
With Mount Panorama, Phillip Island, Oran Park Circuit and Winton Raceway already on iRacing, all users will be able to race on Sandown from 7 June onwards, where they can enable the Supercars AI.
 
The circuit’s inclusion to the platform comes ahead of the 2022 Cash Converters Supercars Eseries, which will include Sandown as part of its six-round season.
 
iRacing executive producer Greg Hill was pleased to welcome the famous Victorian circuit to the platform.
 
“We’re looking forward to welcoming Sandown International Raceway to iRacing’s extensive list of licensed content,” Hill said.
 
“Our Australian userbase has been an important part of our growth for quite some time, and we’re excited to welcome the long-time home of one of Supercars’ most popular events.
 
“We’re looking forward to adding it to our Supercars calendars each season, as well as those for a number of other popular iRacing series.”
