Tickets for the ever-popular Bathurst 12 Hour are now on general sale with Australia’s International Enduro promising to be bigger and better than ever before.
Taking place at the iconic Mount Panorama, next year’s edition of the global GT event will take place two weeks earlier than it traditionally has, allowing for more prospective international competitors to attend.
Once again, the endurance race will serve as the opening round of the Intercontinental GT Challenge Powered by Pirelli, meaning a strong field of the best GT racers from around the world will likely be in attendance.
After 2023’s edition of the event welcomed a record-breaking crowd of more than 53,000 fans across the weekend, strong sales for camping and corporate tickets for next year have already occurred, leaving Event Director Shane Rudzis confident of the event’s growth.
“Following a massively successful 2023 event, we are very excited to open ticket sales for the 2024 Bathurst 12 Hour,” Rudzis said.
“Every year we welcome more of the world’s best teams, drivers, and manufacturers to take on Mount Panorama, and we take significant pride in putting on a world-class event to kick off another exciting year of racing.
“We have already seen an incredible start to sales of camping and corporate experiences and have received tremendous interest from prospective competitors for next year’s race. We are expecting another fantastic turnout of both domestic and international competitors and eventgoers to journey to Mount Panorama for what is building up to be the biggest Bathurst 12 Hour yet.
“We are looking forward to welcoming the world to Bathurst once again from February 16-18, in what undoubtedly will be another heart pounding 12 hours of racing at our beloved Mount Panorama.”
Run in collaboration between a number of notable organisations, including Supercars, the SRO Group and the Bathurst Regional Council, the event continues to receive support from the NSW Government’s tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.
And Bathurst Mayor Robert Taylor was excited for the welcome a large international contingent, as well as the famous circuit receiving international interest.
“The Bathurst 12 Hour has become renowned as one of the premier international endurance challenges attracting a large contingent of international teams to Bathurst,” Mayor Taylor said.
“The world-wide exposure of the race builds on Mt Panorama’s excellent reputation as one of the world’s finest motor racing circuits and puts Bathurst firmly in the international spotlight.”
