The Impreza WRX Club Victoria has opened entries for a special track day in July with the event to run at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.
 
Taking place over one day on the famous circuit, the event will run as a supersprint where competitors will enjoy six 12-minute sessions and look to post the fastest lap time during the day.
 
While anyone can enter and bring their own road car, with entries open to both members and non-members, the club will also have a special group dedicated to open-wheelers and the iconic Formula Ford.

A regular event run by the club, the track day serves as a great starting point for people who want to experience motorsport in a relaxed and non-competitive environment.
 
“Following on from some of our previous events, we have received a lot of good feedback about it from both experienced drivers and the many newcomers,’ Club President Paul Salcombe said.
 
“For the first timers, they had an absolute blast and were really impressed with the whole day, as well as how much effort we put into hosting the day.  
 
“We look forward to our next track day in July and hopefully welcoming back a number of new faces.”
 
Interested participants have until 5pm on Thursday 4 July to register a place, with entry fees starting from $290 for club members and $340 for non-members.
