Motorsport Australia is pleased to announce that esports accessory designer and manufacturer Guillemot Corporation, through its gaming brand Thrustmaster, will join as an official partner.

As part of a new agreement, Guillemot Corporation will support the governing body as an Official Sim Racing Partner of Motorsport Australia Esports for 2026.

Active in the interactive entertainment hardware and accessories field since 1984, Guillemot Corporation has acquired an international renown in the simulation racing field, for both the quality of its products and the awareness of its Thrustmaster brand.

Thrustmaster brand provides gaming accessories for every type of gamer, ranging from video game enthusiasts to casual users.

Guillemot Corporation has been committed to enhancing gaming experiences for users all over the world, paving the way to long-lasting global partnerships.

Nalick Narcisse, Sales & Trade Marketing Manager Asia Pacific within Guillemot Corporation Group, outlined the new partnership will provide a new and improved way for Motorsport Australia’s Esports competitors to experience motorsport gaming.

“Our goal is to deliver immersive, high-performance equipment that allows competitors to experience racing simulation at its very best.

To launch the new partnership, Thrustmaster-branded products were available for hands-on trials at Motorsport Australia’s Esports activation at the Formula 1 QATAR AIRWAYS Australian Grand Prix 2026.

Models available for testing during the activation included the T598, part of the Thrustmaster ecosystem. Thrustmaster is offering a wide range of products designed to support users throughout their learning curve, from newcomers to experienced racers. The detachable SPORTCAR wheel rim of the T598 can be replaced by many existing and future Thrustmaster Wheel Add-On models in Formula, GT, and rally styles (some Wheel Add-On models may require an adapter).

For the activation, the wheel rim was replaced with the Formula Wheel Add-On Ferrari SF1000 Edition, and junior setups were also available using the T248R wheel.

Motorsport Australia Partnerships Manager Loren Di Pietro is looking forward to the collaborative nature of the new partnership.
