Queensland Raceway is set for a pivotal weekend in the 2026 Repco Supercars Championship, with the Century Batteries Ipswich Super 440 marking the final round of the Sprint Cup and setting the stage for the season-ending Enduro rounds and then Finals Series.
Matt Payne arrives in Ipswich as the Sprint Cup leader, holding a 118-point advantage over Broc Feeney, while Cam Waters remains a mathematical chance of claiming the prize.

With the Sprint Cup winner securing a Finals berth, every point will be crucial from the weekend’s three races.
Attention will also turn to Chaz Mostert, who has rediscovered his race-winning form in recent rounds.
The reigning champion has scored more points than all but Payne, Feeney and Waters across the past two events and returns to a Queensland Raceway circuit where he has enjoyed considerable success.

Mostert claimed his maiden Supercars victory at the venue in 2013 and has since added two more wins and multiple podiums.
The weekend will also mark the return of Aaron Seton, with the third-generation racer making a wildcard appearance for Matt Stone Racing.
Seton’s No. 30 Chevrolet Camaro will carry a tribute livery inspired by his father Glenn Seton’s iconic Peter Jackson Ford Falcons, adding a strong family connection to the event.

Seton will be joined by two Supercars debutants, with Tickford’s Ben Gomersall and Team 18’s Bayley Hall stepping up from Super2.
Both will gain valuable experience ahead of future opportunities, with Gomersall also set to return for the AirTouch 500 at The Bend in September.
For Will Brown, Ipswich represents an opportunity to put a challenging period behind him and fight back following recent upgrades to his #888 Ford Mustang.

With his title hopes still alive, the Red Bull Ampol Racing driver will be determined to make the most of the weekend.
Track action begins Friday, with two 120-kilometre races on Saturday followed by a 200-kilometre finale on Sunday.
