Aspiring young women with a passion for motorsport are invited to apply for the next FIA Girls on Track Pathways event at Walkinshaw Andretti United’s Supercars workshop on Thursday 29 August.
Supported by Supercheap Auto, this event promises an unparalleled opportunity for hands-on learning and an opportunity to further explore careers in motorsport.
Taking place at the Clayton workshop in Melbourne, the specifically designed Girls on Track event will provide participants with a unique look into the inner workings of the team, as well providing a further understanding of the career opportunities in motorsport.
The event will also include the opportunity to meet with senior members of the team as well as one of the Walkinshaw Andretti United Supercars drivers.
The day will include simulated race day scenarios, including practical sessions utilising HP laptops, made possible through our platinum partnership with HP.
There are limited places available for this event, with a selection process used to determine attendees, based on potential participants’ interest and commitment to motorsport.
Working with Motorsport Australia, Walkinshaw Andretti United will select participants based around the following areas of interest:
- Mechanics
- Engineering
- Driving
- Commercial (including partnerships, marketing and content creation)
- Human performance (including physio and nutrition)
