The annual visit to the Apple Isle will see drivers challenged in two races across Saturday and Sunday.
Symmons Plains Raceway is a dynamic track known for its fast straights, with the best overtaking opportunities at the iconic hairpin and turn six at the end of the back straight.
The current top three is bookended by Red Bull Ampol Racing teammates Will Brown and Broc Feeney in first and third position respectively, with Chaz Mostert of Walkinshaw Andretti United in second after an impressive showing at last month’s 2024 Panasonic Air Conditioning Sydney SuperNight.
Brown and Mostert have achieved three race wins each across the 2024 season to date, with only 105 points separating the pair.
Feeney will be eager to make up ground in Launceston, his 11th place finish in Sydney leaving him with a gap to overcome heading into the endurance races after Tasmania.
Fans can expect the first burst of Supercars action on Friday with a single practice session, with a three-part knockout qualifying session and a single race on each of Saturday and Sunday.
This round will also showcase support categories Porsche Sprint Challenge Australia, Formula Ford, Aussie Racing Cars and Tassie Tin Tops.
All Supercars sessions over the weekend will be broadcast live via Foxtel and Kayo for Australian viewers, while fans outside the country can watch via Superview.
