Nominations are now open for positions on Motorsport Australia’s three Commissions for 2027.

Eligible members may consider applying for positions on Motorsport Australia’s Australian Motor Racing Commission (AMRC), Australian Off Road Commission (AORCOM) and Australian Rally Commission (ARCOM).

Motorsport Australia’s Commissions play an important role in the strategic direction of the governing body’s largest disciplines, working alongside the administration to support the continued growth of the sport and provide advice on future opportunities.

As delegates of the Motorsport Australia Board, Commissioners provide valuable specialist insight across their respective disciplines and help support the strategic planning and development of motorsport throughout Australia.

A current sitting member of a Motorsport Australia Commission seeking reappointment must complete the nomination form, but does not require a nominator.

Any other candidate will need to obtain a nomination from a current Motorsport Australia member, State Council representative or Motorsport Australia Board Director.

Potential applicants are also encouraged to be aware of the responsibilities that come with the role, noting Commissioners are official delegates of the Motorsport Australia Board.

Commissioners must meet the requirements of a Director under the Corporations Act 2001 and acknowledge that they are not disqualified from acting in such a capacity pursuant to sections 206A and 206B.
